Learn to Skate (designed for children 3-6 years old with little to no skating experience)

The emphasis of the Learn to Skate program will be developing the fundamental skating skills that are the foundation of the game of hockey, Sticks and pucks will be included in sessions folloiwng the first 8-10 weeks.

Learn to Skate will be held each Saturday morning at 8am from October 14th, 2023 - February 24th, 2024

We have limited quantities of loaner equipment available, including a helmet, shin/knee pads, elbow pads and gloves for your skater to use throughout the season with a required security deposit. (a $100 check will be held by the organization treasurer, returned when equipment is returned.) Hockey skates are required and are the responsibility of the player.  A jersey and stick will be provided for each player to keep.

Learn to Play (Open to skaters who have comleted a minimum of one year of beginners and / or have the basic fundamentals of skating)

This program is open to skaters who have completed a minimum of one year at beginners and/or have the basic fundamentals of skating.  Players 8 and older who are playing hockey for the first time may enter this program to learn the skills necessary to play in age-level appropriate progams.

This program is based on USA Hockey's developed Cross Ice Program. 

Sticks and equipment are required at the start of the first ice session. 

The Learn to Play Program will skate each Saturday morning at 9am and each Wednesday evening at 6:15pm. Note that some time/dates may change or be skipped due to the Ice Knight and high school schedule.

The sessions will run from October 14th, 2023- February 28th, 2024

Total Fees for the season are $400.  A $100 deposit is required at registration

Birth Years 2015 and 2016 (or younger skaters who are prepared for Mites)

Mite teams will play in the Empire Amateur Hockey Conference (EAHC) during the 2023-2024 season.

Program fees include: home and away jerseys and socks; twice weekly practices from September - February; and approximately 7 home and 7 away EAHC scheduled games. 

Total Fees for the season will be approximately $900.  A $250 deposit is required at registration.

All fees will be required to be paid in full by September 1st, 2023.

Teams may participate in additional scrimmage games and tournaments which may have additional costs.

Squirt Registration (Birth Years 2013 and 2014)

This Squirt team will play in the Empire Amateur Hockey Conference (EAHC) at the appropriate level for the team.

Each player will receive home and away jerseys and socks; approximately two practice ice sessions weekly from mid-September - early March; and approximately 8 home and 8 away regular season games.

Total Fees will be approximately $1300. A $250 deposit is due with registration.

Additional scrimmage games, tournaments and events may be scheduled by individual teams.  There may be additional costs in addition to any league fees, and are often covered through fundraising efforts by the team.

12U Pee Wee Empire Registration (Birth Years 2011 and 2012)

The 12U Empire team will play in the Empire Amateur Hockey Conference (EAHC) at a level appropriate for the team.

Fees include two practices weekly from  September to March, home and away socks and jerseys and approximately 8 home and 8 away regular season games.

Total Fees for the season are estimated to be  $1300.  A $250 deposit is due at registration.

Additional scrimmage games, tournaments and events may be scheduled by individual teams.  There may be additional costs in addition to any league fees, and are often covered through fundraising efforts by the team.

14U Bantam Registration (Birth Years 2009 and 2010)

The Bantam 14U Team will practice twice weekly from September - March, and will play in the Empire Amateur Hockey Conference (EAHC) during the 2023-2024 season.

Each player will receive home and away jerseys and socks; approximately two practice ice sessions weekly from October - February; and approximately 9 home and 9 away regular season games.

Total Fees for the season are  $1300  A $250 deposit is due at registration

Additional scrimmage games, tournaments and events may be scheduled by individual teams.  There may be additional costs in addition to any league fees, and are often covered through fundraising efforts by the team.

18U Split Season Midget Registration (Birth Years 2005-2006)

The Livingston Blues 18U Split Season Midget Team will play in the Western New York Amateur Hockey League (WNYAHL) with games held August - November with a break for the High School Season, and a resumption of play February - March, with the goal being quialification for the State Tournament.

Each player will receive home and away jerseys and socks; two weekly practices and approximately 8 home and 8 away regular season games per the requirements of the WNYAHL division the team is placed in.

Total Fees for the season are anticipated to be $1300*  A $250 deposit is due at registration.

*price may vary based upon available ice, and actual  practices and games. 

Additional scrimmage games, tournaments and events may be scheduled by individual teams.  There may be additional costs will be in addition to any league fees which may be covered through fundraising efforts by the team.

THIS TEAM WAS SELECTED BY TRYOUT - DO NOT REGISTER UNLESS YOUR CHILD HAS BEEN NOTIFIED HE IS ON THIS TEAM!  Players who register who are not on the team will be refunded their deposit minut credit card fees.
